This week the BeautifulJobs team spoke to Shannon Mc Creery, from The Skin Nerd Team, by founder Jennifer Rock. Shannon reveals her new exciting role with The Skin Nerd, and her experience using BeautifulJobs in her job search.
Shannon shares “I applied for The Skin Nerd position not fully understanding the job description, as most people didn’t at the time, but I was eager for the role as I had looked to Jennifer Rock as an inspirational role model since the start of my career studying beauty and body therapy.”
“I was extremely surprised each time Maria from Beautifuljobs offered me back for the next round of a five-round interview process. Maria helped build my confidence and gave me true support even at times I doubted myself.”
“Since starting at Nerd HQ my role has changed from Skin Consultant to Education and Events with The Cleanse Off Mitt. My role now involves our newly launched Cleanse Off Mitt events and to educate stockist and customers on all the benefits of the Cleanse Off Mitt and the importance of cleansing the skin and skin health.” Shannon says.
“The experience has been fast moving from in depth skin and product training to gaining new skills in IT administration. I am blessed to be part of the Skin Nerd Team as I am surrounded by an amazing group of women. I am very excited to see what the future might hold and to grow alongside a business and philosophy I truly believe in. I am extremely grateful to Maria for all her wonderful support throughout this journey.” Shannon quotes.
