In this months’ issue of the BeautifulJobs E-Magazine, the wonderful Alison Canavan shared her story and expert advice with our readers. Here’s a little taster of what she had to say –

MAC_1496Alison Canavan is passionate about human potential and helping people to reach theirs. She has been studying both in Ireland and internationally collaborating with the leading thinkers in the field of mindfulness and self-care. Alison Canavan is an award winning author, a health and wellness coach, Master NLP Practitioner, motivational speaker and mindfulness facilitator. She is currently continuing her studies in mindfulness at UCLA and has recently been featured on the cover of Mindful Magazine, America’s leading publication, on shelves across the United States.

The full 360 approach to health and wellbeing that she teaches encourages people to look at all areas of their lives and not just one or two. At her The Full 360 events she shares tools and techniques that help people connect, go within and create lasting change through intuition and everyday small behavioural changes. Alison firmly believes that real wellness can only truly be achieved when we connect the dots, taking a full 360 approach with our own health and wellbeing. This means looking at body, mind, spirit, our environment and the quality of our relationships. This event will bring guests through different, fun techniques including mindfulness, gratitude, self-care tips and what effect our food has on our mood. Alison will also talk about looking at our toxic load and the products we use on a daily basis both in the home and on ourselves. Most women put on average 168 – 515 chemicals* onto their skin each day. This has a very strong and negative effect on our overall health and wellbeing and something Alison is passionate about spreading the word on.

Launching her Autumn 360 series Alison said “My work is about joining the dots with our health and wellbeing andCover Beautiful jobs truly understanding that we need to stop treating different aspects of ourselves separately.  Our mind, body and spirit are connected and all affect each other. If one is out of balance, that others are too.  I can’t wait to share accessible practises with everyone, practises that everyone can use everyday like gratitude, mindfulness, movement and good food to help you on a personal journey towards freedom and joy.  Showing up and doing the work is about giving oneself the permission to love yourself and practice self-care.”

The Full 360 event helps attendees make small changes that will give them the confidence to follow their drams and to believe in themselves.  Small changes make a big difference.
