Olivia Murray, owner of Opium Skin and Beauty Clinic, located in Tullamore County Offaly spoke exclusively to BeautifulJobs regarding the remarkable announcement of ‘Frontline Give Back Day’, a day Olivia and Deirdre Gallagher owner of Studio One Hair Salon have organised to honour and pay homage to our brave frontline workers who are risking their lives daily to keep us safe. In return, they will be fully pampered with complimentary beauty and hair treatments. This incredible day will take place on a Sunday when the Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and salons nationwide will come together to offer free treatments to frontline workers.
The initial idea sparked massive nationwide interest from not only salon owners, hairstylists and therapists but also influencers & celebrities and even food & beverage facilitators and musicians who want to take part on the day! It all started off with an Instagram post when Olivia the brains of the operation spoke to her followers about her generous plan of “wanting to give back.”
Olivia shares, “I really felt I needed to do something to show my thanks and I’m no different from anyone in Ireland who wants to just give back’.
The feedback has since been enormous not only in the beauty sector but from others who want to part take and show their appreciation. There is now a website for anyone who would like like to participate in “Frontline Give Back Day.” This is an amazing and generous day where the beauty and hair sectors will all come together to showcase the devote gratitude for our “superhero” frontline workers who are away from their families and really make them feel fabulous.
