Codex Beauty Labs, the plant-based biotech beauty brand, is kicking off 2021 with its second collection of solution- oriented products – Antü, launching February 2021. The skin barrier (stratum corneum) is the outermost layer of the skin that literally protects the body from the outside world. When the stratum corneum is healthy, skin feels soft, smooth, and plump. When the barrier function is intact, it contains the right amount of lipids and Natural Moisturising Factor, which help your skin to retain water more effectively, so it becomes resilient yet supple (flexible) and radiant. By protecting the skin barrier, epidermis inflammation is reduced, so it can start re-densifying and rebuilding collagen. Finally, by reducing the appearance of pores, skin luminosity can be further enhanced.
The Antü collection is focused on protecting, restoring, and strengthening the skin barrier. It focuses on managing reactive oxidative stress (ROS) in skin while supporting the microbiome. Packaging
Our tubes all carry the Carbon Footprint Standard’s CO₂e AssessedProduct stamp of approval. The Carbon Footprint Standard is an internationally recognized certification for demonstrating low carbon credentials. Our cartons, pamphlets and mailer boxes all carry either PEFC or FSC (sustainable forestry) certification and are compostable. We are working on transitioning to compostable sachets.
